(More customer reviews)After my last coffee maker died (the fourth or fifth one in just eight years), I was sick of the electric coffee pot. This very simple set-up was inexpensive and doesn't have any electrical parts to break.
The best thing, though, is that this makes the best coffee ever. Seriously. Here's the method: I grind my beans right before brewing. I pour boiling water over the grounds, just enough to soak them. Then I pour again to fill the filter with water. And I stir with a spoon. Pour and stir, pour and stir, until all the water has gone through. Simple, easy, and amazingly good coffee. It's way better than anything I got from my overpriced electrical machines.

The utmost in simplicity this method allows you to pour hot water directly on the grounds. Gravity takes over from there and in a matter of minutes you have brewed coffee.
