(More customer reviews)I bought this product mainly because we burn a lot of incense at home, being Hindu and all. However, recently we adopted a cat and he took to being fascinated by the smoke that wafted from the incense sticks.
I remembered seeing something like this at an aunt's place, looked for it first at Pier 1, whole foods etc., but eventually found it on Amazon.
It really is a wonderful product. It's finish is pretty good, although it isn't perfect. Infact, I would say, it its imperfections are what makes it look handcrafted and very very nice.
As for holding incense it does! Two sticks if you'd like. And also cones/ dhoop sticks.
Somehow our cat doesn't find the box as fascinating as the smoke spiraling out of thin sticks (which in fact resembles one of his toys)
But heck! I'm not complaining.
This is an excellent buy - whether you have a reason for wanting it (like an adventurous cat) or just because it's pretty.
The folks who shipped it to me - Everest Bazar, did an excellent job of packing this stuff too.
Very pleased with the purchase.
