But BE WARNED, the remote control is a complete fail because it is most definitely not "smart." Why? Because the way the sconce works is there is an infra-red detector on the base of the sconce. It is simply a detector meaning any button on any remote control in your house will set it off, making it useless in a home theater or family room where infra-red signals are bouncing all over the place. Every time you change the channel on your TV, you inadvertently change the color of the sconce or turn it on or off.
