Boy did that get expensive to keep it lit during the holiday season!!!! The price of this wreath covers the cost of batteries alone for the other one.
This solar-powered wreath is so much better. I charged up the solar panel for one day and then the following night, it was loaded with sparkling lights, and they remain on all night!
There is a long cord from the wreath to the solar panel (to keep in the sun for charging) so you can hang it on the door and then run the cord under the door and out on the porch in the sunlight. Therefore, the charger does not hang on the wreath itself to charge up, and making the wreath heavy and cumbersome everytime you open and close the door.
But, the wreath is large and is somewhat heavy. I did feel it lacked a little bit of snazziness so I just added some bling etc. that I bought at a craft store after Christmas sale too at a really low cost. So, now I've finally got a pretty wreath for the holidays that works both day and night!
