(More customer reviews)I ordered six echinacea from Big Dipper Farm. The cost was over $100 for the six plants, so I was surprised when I received them that each plant consisted of only three to four scrawny leaves. I nurtured them all summer, and by fall had slightly larger plants (5 - 7 scrawny leaves each) and NO FLOWERS. Two of the plants have died completely and four are still growing, so hopefully they will one day produce flowers and I will actully get to see the beautiful flowers I've been expecting. When I contacted BIG DIPPER to request a refund or exchange for the two plants which died the response was, "Sorry, our return policy clearly states that all returns and exchanges must be made within 30 days". I am so disapointed with the quality and service from BIG DIPPER FARM.

This is a breathtaking new 2010 introduction. The flowers emerge yellow and then steadily darken to red as they mature. The result is a beautiful kaleidoscope of color all on one plant at the same time!
