(More customer reviews)I am on my 2nd Salad Shooter. My first one gave out after 6 years, but that one was with a rechargable battery. I've had my 2nd one for about 5 years. I only use it for grating cheese and it works great. It is sooo much faster and easier than using an old fashion grater. I agree with the first reviewer about it being made out of plastic. I need to replace the shredder cone because the plastic has a bunch of cracks in it. I am so glad that they have the replacement piece and I don't have to buy a whole new unit.
