(More customer reviews)I have been surprised how much this clay slumps and shrinks in the bisque fire, making it impossible to make mugs that don't lean, of pieces with lids that fit correctly. Also, it seems a bit inconsistent on the wheel.
On the bright side, it has a real rich red color.

Red and buff clays combined with medium mesh grog that results in more porous pottery, reduces cracking, shrinkage, warpage. Fires to a terra cotta color at Cone 06 and to a darker red-brown at Cone 5. Talc free. Non-toxic. Two 25-lb. plastic bags in container.
