(More customer reviews)My daughter has been able to get out of essentially every swaddle...this one has just taken the longest. I was so desperate that I researched quite a bit and found the woombie. It does work fairly well, however- the zipper was scratching up her chin and neck. I could not figure out a way to keep it from doing so, especially now that she is approaching 4 months old (16 pounds) and is attempting to get her hands out to suck on them. I ended up removing the zipper handle and attaching a piece of string which I tuck into the velcro closure and we have not had any more scratches to her sweet face. My other issue with this is that she tends to suck on the collar...so that dampness combined with her freakish strength have caused it to stretch so she is able to get her hands out to suck on them. I would unswaddle her but she screams for hours on end, so we are going to try the woombie convertible.
Long story short- this is great. The double zipper is a great idea, especially for those early morning diaper changes. It didn't really shrink in the wash either. I love how she is able to move her arms in there. When I was using the miracle blanket, I was always worried about her arms falling asleep. I definitely feel that they are able to be in a more natural position with the woombie. I only removed a star due to the zipper and the stretch in the collar. I have recommended this to most of my friends and I will now embark on a new adventure with the woombie convertible:)
